I think as long as you are just going to transfer the current sw into the new tank it shouldn't be an issue. The sand will make it cloudy but will calm down in a few days since its not new sand. Place the fish in buckets and they should be fine during the move(circulate the water). I am sure...

I purchased and installed the Coralife 125 about a month ago. It functions very well . I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality H.O.B. Style skimmer. In my opinion its only downfall was the size of the pump inside the tank along with the container to stop the swell of micro bubbles...

the real question is what is it cloudy from Is it because of the removal of the cc or did you place in live sand??? Live sand will take a few days to settle, Im not saying its the right thing to do but i put my fish back in when it was still cloudy from replacing the cc with live sand.
