What are your water parameters? Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate, Ph, Alk, Calcium, SG? Are you sure that your tank has completely cycled?

I appreciate the input but I posted that in March and at the time there wasn't a whole lot of information availible for these skimmers.

My damsels went back to the LFS today. They were hard to catch but I am glad they are gone

I run my CSS 125 in sump with out the bubble trap that came with it and it works great. As long as the baffels in your sump are set up properly, the bubble should stay in the skimmer chamber.
