we have lots of xenia also yellow polyps. the yellow polyps have spread a lot want to thin them out - don't know how. the only coral we can use would be something we can put on the sand. we live in Islip Terrace.

just bought some snails to clean our bottom of tank. most of the died. they were ilynassarius obsoleta snails or mud snails. any help would be appreciated. did we buy the wrong type of snails for our reef tank? if so what kind should we buy? as always, thanks for your help.

1- short the plate is on the sand bed. the plate started out pink now has a lot of white on it. could it still be alive?
