What's the ideal temp range again? How low is getting borderline too low? I unplugged my heater during the summer as my temps were getting borderline hot but now I worry they're getting too low and that I need to get that heater running again. Just wanted to check first. Thanks.

Anyone know of some good sites that sell replacement hoods for JBJ nano's? I have a 12 G that I need to replace the top hood but the only catch is that it needs to be the gray hood instead of the black ones. Thanks!

I have fans built into my canopy. My tank actually has been cycling for 12 weeks and I just added to clowns to start me out. I'm showing 82 degrees F in my tank so is that too hot? Also, again, how long do you all leave your Metal Hallides on for each day?

what temp is considered too high? Also, how many hours a day do you run your MH? I have a 42 g with a 250 W MH going 9 hours a day...is that too much? I have a custom built canopy for it so it's not too close at all to the water. Just curious.

I just had a bad cyano outbreak and I bought this new additive for my tank that removes the cyano in 48 hours or less and it's completely reef safe. Now all of my cyano is gone and nothing died. Would recommend to all.

I have a 42 G Hex tank and I want to rearrange my rocks to a better aquascape. Can I see some other Hex owners rock formations for ideas on my own? It's tough since space is limited. I thought this would be a good place to share ideas and show off their rock formations.

it's a 42 g Hex tank and I have a 250 w MH running on it which is more than enough light. Yes, my phosphates are high but I'm lowering them gradually. I just thought if there was a critter that could help out, then that might be useful. Does anyone else know?

I've had a small red slime/cyano algae outbreak. I think it's because my phosphates are too high but I'm working on getting them lowered. I've also tried adding a small power head on the back of my hex tank towards the bottom to help the circulation be better down there so no waste can have time...

get the new K-2 Viper which is made by JBJ and specifically designed for the nano tanks they make. It produces 70 watts and it's AMAZING. I'm very happy with mine.
