hey i was wondering what is the difference between live rock and base rock i was asking a sales person at my lfs about live rock and she threw out the term base rock to me and i figured maybe it was just a cheaper form of LR then again she didn't seem to be to sure of what she was talking about...

hey i'm looking at lighting for my 28 gal. i was wondering if this the a good buy for me it says moon lighting but is it the regular PC and it includes moon lighting or am i totally mistakin. lighting thanks

thanx i thing i'm goin to purchase the "Via Aqua Multi-Skimmer Deluxe" do you know anything about it i'm not sure about the uv sterilizer but for 20 bux more i figure i can't really go wrong

your guess would be completely and totally accurate i'm new and kinda learnin as i go readin up and learnin before i do stuff thanks for the help would a hang on protein skimmer with a uv sterilizer be better or as efficiant on my 28 gal.

hey i have a question about a protien skimmer/sump still kinda new so bear with my device terms lol is this protien skimmer appropriate for a 28 gal soon to be reef tank? and does it mean it when it says just plug it in or will i have to spend another $100 in additional items to make it work? in...

i'm still sort of new to this i'v had smaller tanks before but i'm tryin to learn alot and tackle a smaller reef tank i actually just got a 28 gal bow front i returned my 15 it had the eclipse hood and i figure i'll have to replace the lighting and it will be difficult to manage all the hang ons...
