I have had a Pistol shrimp for about 3 years. It dosnt exactly make a "clicking" sound more like a loud popping sound. It dosnt seem at all aggressive, it hangs out with my orange goby.

I had 3 floods with CRP over a 1year span. Switching to Lifereef, was the best thing i have done. IMO this isnt something to skimp on.

Im would think that if your water flow was good anything on the surface should be "skimmed" off in a few seconds.
