    Live rock arrangment

I would not worry about it. IF the rock was not cured it will jack up the water quality, not the other way around. Avoid placing the rock in such a way that it blocks water movement, it is important that water can flush areas around the sand and rock so you do not get buildups in deadspots. Plus...

    bio-balls:doing a move

tough question. I recently moved my 55, wrapped the bio-balls in a wet towl while I did the move and could only save maybe (probaly a little less) 50% of the water. Everything made it fine, except a torch coral, and my biggest brittle star. Anytime you disturb the tank like this their probaly...

clam is looking bad.. on it's way out i believe

It is actually important for corcea's and other attaching clams to be on roch work. Their muscle seals to the rock then hardens and can prevent parasites and pyramidial (sp?) snails from invading (in an ideal scenario) the back way. Has the clam flushed its zooanaxthenalle (sp?)? Is its mantle...

    Seachem products - the best?

Their Sand bed stuff, and well... I guess thats really all I know about personally. I have heard that his 'black powder' will to. I think its because it is all organic and so breaks down quicker, which is better for corals as it is more bio-available, but has that double-edged sword to it. The...

As far as drilling the tank, if you know someone who can do it, and can afford the the cost of setting up a wet/dry properly it worth the time and effort. If you want to do corals I...
