    Water Flow And Feeding

it might make it easier for them, but when they get accustomed to you feeding them and the type of food (if it is differnt), they will be able to chase it down. A company called Hydor makes rotating reflecters that can fit on the ends of those power heads, it can vary water curent and prevent...

    Seachem products - the best?

Personally I got to stick up for kent. I can get good deals on kent where I work, but beyond that, for the price I think they are the best. I can not speak to their buffer specifically, but their kalkwasser has always done the job for me, and I have a lot of delicates in my tank. Also I love...

HELP....!! My carol is dying, I think the KH is too high

Corals dont add bio-load. And if they do it is minimal. Also ammonia levels less then 0.1, in most average test kits could just be the margin of error. Some ammonia will always be present in any tank fresh or salt, its part of the nitrogen cycle. Depending on whats going on in the tank ammonia...

Fully Stocked Aquarium: a tricky thing to deffine

I have seen a lot of people post about rules of so many inch's per gallon in the slatwater aquarium. Personally I don't think any such guideline is appropriate for saltwater tanks. I might have just missed the thread when I searched for it, but there does not seem to be a lot of info on how to...

    Teach me about clams

Some of those derasa's are gorgeous, we have had a few in that are zebra patterened, that are every bit as bold as a crocea. In a 20L though the amount of supplments (phyto or zooplankton) you will need to add to keep them thriving might pollute water quality. The smallest tank I have had...

    Nitrates 80 - 100!!!

I would still think it is much to large, you have temprature to consider then, it would have to be spot on, and try to match up PH, you could do this by using a ph buffered slat mix like reef crystals (coralife). In the end rapid small volume water changes can just as effective and much safer

Thats not to overcrowded, just stay on top of the tank and make sure you have a bunch of LR and skimmer, the coral beuty and yellow tang are the only ones that will swim about the whole tank activly

    Interesting observation

Not all of them, if your avatar is your tank, it should be large enough to house a regal angel. They are delicate and in the begining can be fussy eaters, but if you get one going they are fairly hardy in the long term. But they will not harm a fly... or zoo
