I was just thinking with electricity probably being the biggest regular expense for my tank and probably others. that it would be awsome to have a self sustainable tank as far as electricity is concered or even half sustainable....anything to cut down on the costs.

as i said usable water. water that would normally be in uderground aquifers is prematurely tansported to the ocean. So if i live in Iowa where there is a massive aquifer that has been severely lowered and my drinking water comes from a well i am screwed. The point is protecting our water...
