I know the rubbermaid has me a little nervous. I bought some 1/4 inch plexi and plan on makeing a sump so I can keep an eye on everything in the sump. Hope 1/4 is thick enough. As for the pump going to the refuge, I dont know ! its been a while since ive seen it.

Figured I would post some updates on my tank. Yet also had a question. in my fuge Im getting alot of red alge, I know that its caused by low flow, so should I get a small pump to circulate the water within the fuge?

Taz, my friend has one of those in his tank. The LFS says they are bad and will eat your fish and coral. From what I understand they are called Echiurid worms. They have venomous fingers. Let us know if you have found anything else out. We have no idea on how to rid of them. One already...

thanks guys, the thing is I grab all my water, live rock, and hermits and snails..ect, right off the reef. Liveing in the middle of the pacific surrounded by coral reef has benefits such as these.

if your tube goes all the way down to the sand bed. dont forget to put a hole at the top to prevent a vacumn. You might want also consider putting in a couple baffles in the refug to slow the water down as much as possable.

Out here in Okinawa, Tanks are very expsensive. I just bought a 55g for just over $300. Im putting in the dinning room. My wife wanted bigger so we could get a moorish idol in there. Any suggestions as to what would be a good show fish in this size?
