Even when it starts out of the bulkhead at 1" and then goes to 1.25" in the standpipe and back to a 1" hose at the end of the standpipe?

Just thought of another question... My bulkhead is 1" and at the top of my back glass. The durso page said to use 1.25" pipe, which I did. Is it imperative to use the 1.25" pipe on this type of overflow? If I had used 1" pipe, would I have had the same positive result with less waterfall sound?

I'm no expert, but I think it would be ok as long as you have good lighting and great water conditions.

You don't need to keep the light on all night, but you do need high intensity lighting. Lots of wattage.

My bubble tip has been splitting for the past 5 days. For the last three days, it has been stretched between 2 rocks with only about a quarter of an inch of flesh left connecting the two feet. How long does this process usually take and is this normal for it to take this long? Thanks!
