food suggestions for a newly acquired Koran Angel?

Just got him from saltwaterfish. He is in mid changing form about 4.5-5"--very nice. I've tried Nori and clams and with both, he bites them and spits them out. I thought those were staples in his diet. He's only been in the tank for 24 hrs so maybe he is still adjusting to his surroundings...

any suggestions for a Volitan who no longer wants Silversides?

He's about 5-6" and has been eating frozen silversides since I got him about 2 months ago. The only other fish in the tank is a puffer. They don't bother one another at all. For some reason, over the past couple of days, he will literally chomp them and spit them out. Sometimes they will...

    background color for appearance

What color do you choose for overall tank appearance? Black Blue Not painted...letting coraline do its' work I had a sort of bright blue and peeled it off today. I kind of like the look of no color. It's an in-wall display so it's kind of cool seeing through it. However, I tried a small...

first decent pics of my 90 in-wall display

I wish I could help with camera settings. Honestly, I have no idea. I used a Canon 540 that I have since returned because there were just too many options to choose from and the pictures of people were all blurry. We weren't happy with it. These pics are decent but the others were subpar. I...

first decent pics of my 90 in-wall display

There really isn't much to putting the tank in the wall. Just score the sheetrock, take it out, demolition saw the wood, frame it out, and move the tank. Definitely do a search first. I can take closer pictures as well if you'd like. I had more trouble deciding on the design of the sump than...

first decent pics of my 90 in-wall display

The aquascaping can definitely be a PITA. You really need two people. I would put a piece in position, come in the front and look...go back...adjust...walk around again. It's worth it when it's down however. It frees up so much space.

first decent pics of my 90 in-wall display

I'm not sure what you are talking about in regards to the small yellow thing. I don't even have frogspawn. The closest I have to that are Hammer and Galaxia. On the right side are a green monti cap and a large orange sponge. Not sure?....

Both the Blue Tang and Sailfin are less than 3" right now so it isn't an issue. I may have to adjust when they get too big, but right now, they are doing fine. I started saltwater about 3 years ago. This tank is only a few months old (after the move I mean). I started SPS about 4-5 months ago.

first decent pics of my 90 in-wall display

I'm guessing I have about 65-75 lbs of LR. As for corals, I have a mixed setup. I have zoos, some scattered mushrooms that I hand picked to get rid of but they still come back. I have two leathers. I have a heads in a hammer for LPS along with a small frag of galaxia(give it room). I also...

    Lets see some cool aquascaping!!!

I'm not really sure how to sketch the side and top views. I can take other pictures if you like. I did not use any branch rock. It's a mix of Fiji and Haitain. I would say about 70-80lbs.
