I recently ordered the 45 pound box, and it filled my 46 gallon bow! Very large pieces.. actually would have liked more medium sized pieces for my current aquascape, but I'm going to rearrange the tank to show off all the large pieces. I definitely would reccommend purchasing some of their rock!

Do you mean the one on top of the tank? The black plastic support thing? I was told to cut mine out for the sake of a metal halide.. but decided not to, so that the guarantee on the tank wouldn't be void. There is the possibility that nothing will go wrong... I would just be more cautious. How...

I don't think you can request specific sizes. I Got the 45 lb box, and am very pleased with what they sent. I got a good mix of rocks, about 4 large ones, 6 medium, and a few small ones. (small being about 3 inches across)

Update: Ok, I have had the rock curing for about a week and a half. I only tested the Ammonia and Nitrite levels tonight. They were: Ammonia: .50 ppm Nitrite: 2.0 ppm Soo... I've got some more waiting/water changes to do, but I can't wait to get the rock into the tank; it's gorgeous!
