I love Hermits and snails. I would add about 1 hermit per gallon. I like Scarlett Hermits, but blue leggs are cool and mine are fine. I know some people say they are aggressive but mine dont bother anything.

I never heard of a bristle worm killing a fish. How big is the bristle Worm? Can you get a picture of it? Did you make any changes to your tank right before it happened? Have you tested your water yet?

I am with you, I upgraded my lights to MH and in two months Hair algae. I do know that blue leg hermits eat it because my LFS got several feather duster in and they were covered with hair algae so he put each one in with about 30 blue legs in a small container and a week later you would never...

Mine has always worked for me and is inline with what the LFS has been using. I have been using mine for about 6 months. I dont like their Calcium test though.

Looks like a hammer. I dont feed mine anything. It lives off of light and what floats around the tank. Mine has been getting larger and larger since I got it.

Have you tested your water? If so then what are the results?

It did go from MH's to PC's so maybe your right. I hope that we had a special RBTA in the tank and I was going to buy alot GBTA's and put them there so they could turn into a RBTA and then I sell them as RBTA's. LOL

Royal Grammas can be aggressive, some from what I have read are very aggressive. Mine is fairly agressive. I would give it a few days and see if they calm down, after a while mine has learned to chill.

No way, the GBTA was bigger than the RBTA and it is still bigger. They are still the same size and it took about 3 to 5 days for it to completely change colors. Any ideas

I have question about a GBTA. I had a nice dark GBTA and we put it into another tank in with a RBTA. The two came into contact with each other and stayed that way for about a day. And now the GBTA is as Red as RBTA. This was almost 2 1/2 weeks ago and they are both looking good but how did...

I have the Aquapod 24g and I love it. The live rock will fit but you will need to get rid of the yellow tang. They dont last long in a 24g tank.

Ok, my cleanup crew now consist of 1 cleaner shrimp 1 emerald crab 13 blue leg hermits 7 scarlett hermits 2 Cerith Snails 2 Bumble Bee Snails 2 Astrea Snails And a Pincushion Urchin What do you think?

Thanks everyone, I have cut my lights to seven hours a day and I am going to go 3 weeks before I do my next water change and I will also check out the product you all have mentioned. I dont want to take my rock so I will try to remove it from inside the tank.
