    Dogface Problem?

Depends what you have in your tank. At this time we took this puffer back. He seemed to not like it here. He was a large one and we had him in a 200 gallon tank.

    Dogface Problem?

Funny you should say that. He and the blue spotted grouper are like a couple. They swim every where together and even lay beside eachother after the lights go out. :D :D

    Dogface Problem?

No signs of any thing wrong. The water levels are very normal and he is still eating normally. His eyes look fine. It has been going on for about 3 days.

Does anyone else give names to their fish? Or is our family WHACKED? We have a name for each of our fish, I am beginning to think we are nuts.

Does anyone have a golden puffer?

Honestly I would consider getting one. The price is a draw back right now but I have spent a lot of fish before. The fact is that I never seen on in a LFS and the one place online I called didnt have one in stock and never called me back, two months now, when they got one.

    Dogface Puffer

So far our new addition, the Dogface, is doing well. He eats like a teenaged boy. He and the grouper take turns when we put in food. We hope to put up pics of our tanks on a our website soon.

    Dogface Puffer

Today the dogface ate breakfast just fine this morning. He and the blue spotted grouper seemed to be building a friendship. They tend to hang out next to eachother. The eel seems to be very shy of the puffer. Do puffers eat ells?

Someone told us to feed the dogface 4 times a week. Is that good advice or is twice a day better advice?

    10 Gallon Nano-reef

Today we started two 10 gallon Nano-reefs. We used cured live rock, 15 lbs each and live sand, about 20 lbs each tank. We also used water from our 90 and 55 gallon reef tanks. We have Skimmers on both, not big ones, and filters. Is there anyone out there that has some experience with...

    Green Carpet.. Keeps Movin

To be honest our green carpet loves BRIGHT LIGHTS. We have a total of 440 watts on a 90 gallon Reef and it always wants to move to the top of the rocks. Also I have heard that any ammonia will lead to a slow death. 20 gallon tank IMO is too small a tank for a green carpet. Good luck.

    200 Gallon Aggresive Tank

I was wondering what should be our gph for this tank. We have a 13 inch blue spotted grouper, a 13 inch horn shark, a 10 inch eel with about 80 lbs of live rock. At this point we have about 1050 gph filtration with a good skimmer and wet/dry filter. Is this enough or should we bo for more?
