Does anybody have pictures of a Red emperor snapper. I'm thinking about getting one.

I had a Flame angel in with my coral and he left the corals alone, but he ended up dying for no apparent reason....

Yeah that's what I'm thinking, could be cyanide. Because the rest of my fish are doing great. Does anyone know if they catch all angels with cyanide?? Wondering about an emperor... :thinking:

I have a lettuce nudibranch and I've had no problems with it at all. It's all over the tank walls and LR, its pretty active.

I've seen some posts on here stating, to go out and get distilled water from Walmart to top off your tank when some water evaporates. I would say that you could use the drinking water at walmart also. Because if you look at the label on the water, you will see that the drinking water is RO...

Those are awesome, What size are they? How long haver you had them? and what do you usually feed them...?

I agree...that's what I said, there's no need for shrimp to rot in your tank when you already have beneficial bacteria from your LR and sand. Just throw some fish in there and your tank will be fine. Who came up with the shrimp theory any way...never heard of it....sounds stupid though....

Please post your Flame Angels if you have any. I just ordered one off the SWF site and can't wait for it to arrived. Once I get it settled in, I'll take some pics and post it... :joy:

I would go ahead and add your crew if your levels are the same tomorrow. If you had good LR and substrate, you should be good to go, you will get some brown algae, but eventually after some water changes and your crew cleanin', it will go away.

If I were you I would go ahead and get that lemon peel, It should work out for you, and then eventually upgrade.

I have a 150 gal reef set up at want to put a good-sized fish in their. I have two percs and a damsel, with live rock, numerous corals, three cleaner shrimp, lettuce nudibranch, feather duster, hermits.....Any suggestions on getting a big fish that is reef safe???

I have a reef tank set up and I'm wondering if it would be ok to put an Emperor Angel in the tank. Would be better to put an juvenile or Adult. Any info will help... Thanks :thinking:
