BUMP, I would like to go by some lights this weekend, but I just don't know what wattage I should be looking for

I would like to keep a 30 gallon reef tank with ls and lr, and I am thinking I'm going to use Flourescent lighting, does anyone know the proper watts I should be looking for, for a tank this size, and with enough light to have coral grow.

What is the general rule of thumb for how many pounds of lr /per gallon of tank, (ie 1lb per gallon, or 2lbs per gallon)? thanks

Does base rock eventually turn into live rock, after being put in an established tank that already has LS and LR in it?
