    Yellow watchman Goby

I have a yellow watchman and yes he will sift the sand if he gets really hungry but they are really good eaters mine is as fat as can be. Grouperhead, I think your thinking of the diemond back goby those will almost always exhaust a live sand bed of all its critters and then starve.

    hair algae

I had some hair algae pretty bad and I got ten really big turbo snails and they cleaned it right up. The only thing is that the really big ones can bulldoze around causing you corals to fall.

    Blue Leg Hermits

I have had them in my reef and they didn't bother my corals but if you do not provide larger shells for them to grow into they go for you snails that is to say if you have snails if you don't they might go after each other

    Rotating Powerhead

If you ordred a power sweep from ZooMed then it might not rotate all that much. I had one but took it back because it just would not rotate,I think it has something to do with the mechanism getting stuck with small bits of junk or a film of algae growing on the gears.

    whats the best skimmer?

In my 50 gallon reef I use a AquaC Urchin Pro Its the same as the remora Pro but for in sum apps. it works really great it's rated for tanks up to 125 gallons. If you need something bigger Thier EV series of skimmers are good too.

    algea killer

I don't think the brown algae killed your shrimp it more than likely died and then the brown algae grew over it. Brown algae can grow really fast. You may also want to check your waters parameters to see if that could have been the cause of your shrimps death.
