What do you think of the 24 g aquapod

So I used to be pretty active on these forums (in the larger tank division), but we had to move so I gave up the tanks. I would love to get back into things, but no longer have the time, space or money for a larger tank (those 50 gal water changes took a lot of time and the salt costs alone...

Free 6" longfin sleeper goby, Pittsburgh PA, no shipping

So I tried to sell him to no avail and need to get him out of the tank by Friday night. He's a gorgeous fish around 6 inches long and I want to find a good home for him (the previous home I found for him fell through at the last minute). The only catch is you have to come over Wednesday...

Must go this week: live rock, longfin goby, Aragamax sugar sized. Pittsburgh, PA

Should mention that the RODI has ~400-500 gal through it total, so lots of life left on the filters/membrane. Scotty, if you are still interested in this stuff, can you drop me an e-mail at sylvius@gmail.com? I can then e-mail you my phone number (or send me yours). I need to get this done by...

Must go this week: live rock, longfin goby, Aragamax sugar sized. Pittsburgh, PA

Sorry, I meant the Oakland neighborhood of Pittsburgh. I am right in the city... The tank is 130 gal (about 60" long x 24" wide x 23" deep). However, as you can see in the pictures, one end is not rectangular, it has ~ 13" wide mid panel and the two beveled panels return back about 6". The...

Must go this week: live rock, longfin goby, Aragamax sugar sized. Pittsburgh, PA

Yeah, that's what's for sale, though I will throw in the chaeto, sand and leftover frozen food if whoever buys the rock and fish wants it. It is all live rock, though not tons of coralline on it. Please let me know if interested. As for Oakland, MD, google maps shows it being 2.5 hours away, so...

Must go this week: live rock, longfin goby, Aragamax sugar sized. Pittsburgh, PA

So I have to get my tank dismantled this week and the last fish and live rock have to go first. The fish is a gorgeous long fin sleeper goby, about 6" long. Sifts and eats wonderfully. Will be sad to see him go. The live rock is about 125-130 lbs. I would like to sell it all as one package...

The tank is about 60" long x 24" wide x 23" deep. However, as you can see in the pictures, one end is not rectangular, it has ~ 13" wide mid panel and the two beveled panels return back about 6". The overall height of the tank, stand and canopy (which is attached to the tank) is 63". As for...

I'd rather wait and see if someone will by the lot. Plus, I want to sell the fish before the rock. If, by the time the fish go no one has bought the whole lot, I'll let you know...thanks!

Small mistake...two of the maxi-jets have sure grip magnets, not mag floats. Also, would be willing to drive a reasonable distance to meet or deliver.

simple bubble trap idea...will it help?

Kewl, thanks for the responses. I'll check out the other threads now that I know the term to search for. As for the skimmer, it's as far from the return as possible and I have the intake for the return less than an inch from the bottom of the sump. The bubble problem's not horrible, but the...

    Thinking about HOT Refuge

I had the CPR large aquafuge with light fixture on my 55 until I upgraded tanks and I loved it. I had it behind the tank, so you couldn't see much of it from in front of the tank except the intake powerhead and the output. However, those parts of it looked pretty clean like most CPR stuff (in my...

How long has he been in your tank, is he eating, any trouble with tank mates, etc? If I wanted to take him off your hands are you willing to wait until the weekend or do you want him out asap?

simple bubble trap idea...will it help?

So a few months back I got a new tank and the sump doesn't have any baffles/skimmer chamber. I have added a separate fuge, but the skimmer is still sitting in the sump and I have occasional problems with microbubbles getting into the DT. In thinking about a simple solution, I was wondering if...
