OK this is something I have been wonder for a long time, but can a saltwater tank grow a Maine lobster? So basically I want to know if I could go to Local grocery store get a small lobster and grow it till it the right size?

Ok I have a overflow box and used PVC pipe down to the sump. The problem I am having is there are, so many bubbles in the sump tank that it is over flowing with bubbles and foam and had the cut my pump back to almost nothing. I was wonder if I add a trap and a vent will this stop the bubbles...

I am going to be adding more power heads to my tank and was wondering if it is a good Idea to have a few of them turn off when the lights turn off? or should I run them all the time. Is it a bad thing to turn them off?

Ok this is something that I can never find anything on. What is the required water flow in a Saltwater tank. I have a 55 gallon and also have an Quiet One Pumps 4000HH, which at 3 feet it suppose to have a output of 750 GPH. Is this over kill , the right enough or not enough?

Is VHO a good type of lighting or is it out dated? I am right now am Setting up 2-110 VHO light bulbs, but I am wondering if I should switch it to something else like Power Compacts. Suggestions. I think VHO are better then PC, but I don't know.

I have had a Freshwater tank setup for about six years and some how today I found a Snail on the Glass. How is it possible to get a snail with out adding a snail? Could it be a saltwater snail in my freshwater tank????? I did use the same brush once from my saltwater tank on my freshwater tank...

Why do Coral Banded Shrimp Need to be a Mated Pair? Does that mean one is a Female and one is a Male and they will have more? I am new to saltwater tanks and just starting to setup a 55 gallon tank. Everything test out, so I can start adding more to my tank.
