I bought this from my LFS as a small frag and was just wondering why my polyps aren't extending like most do. It has greatly improved since I first put it in the tank, so I'm not complaining about it getting worse, but it doesn't look how I would've thought it should. Is it sick? Here's now...

So I was reading some threads and was wondering exactly which mushrooms are known to eat fish?

I recently went to my LFS and saw a really cool toadstool there that I was considering to buy, so I thought I would start a thread for people to post pics of theirs and possibly what conditions the toadstools need to thrive. Thanks! Lisa

OK. So I just injected boiling water into my pest glass anemone and it was really cool (yet a little sad because it instantly deflated) but then it dawned on me that normally when anemones die, they pollute the tank. Am I supposed to do something else, or will what I did be fine? :thinking:

OK, unfortunately I bought these nice zoo frags that came with a glass anemone I want to remove it, but it's foot is in a deep hole that it retracts into whenever I try to inject boiling water into it's mouth (plus there are nice looking polyps right next to it that I would like to not...

It's been a while since I've seen these, but I was just curious why they would all die/disappear.

If you mushroom moves from it's original location, will new mushrooms grow where it was? How soon (if they do this) can you see the new mushrooms? I'm pretty much clueless. -Lisa

Just wondering if this is normal behavior for a clown: It is gently nibbling (not really biting) on one of my mushrooms...is it trying to host it? or is it doing something else? The mushroom looks fine, it just shrinks a little each time like it would if you touched it.

I just bought my first xenia coral today (tiny thing since I know they can be a weed at times) and have acclimated it. I was wondering how long it normally takes them to open up, given the water conditions/lighting is correct?

Do all xenia corals open and close? or is that a special kind that does that? (Sorry, I had to ask...)

OK, I think my clownfish has Brooklynella.. I was wondering what may have caused this? Does anyone have any success stories with this disease?(as in had it, but cured it). or are they normally fatalities? Anything more I can do other than the dipping in Formalin? -Lisa
