    Blueleg Hermit Crabs Are BAD?!

I think I have a agressive blue that is eating some of my other crabs. I havent been able to catch him in the act yet but I keep hearing a popping/cracking sound every now and then. Then I end up seeing a piece of a crab leg floating somewhere in my 20 gallon. I am fairly confident that it...

    Protein skimmer - what type

I have the same question as I think the skimmer I have is screwed up or I am not using it correctly. I have a 20 gallon tank, and the skimmer is a Current NANO Fussion Skimmer that is suction cupped to the inside of the tank. It is making a ton of small / micro air bubbles. It says that its...

    Warming Top Off

R/O water is around 60 to 65 degrees or so. I didnt know if that would somehow harm my inverts, peppermint shrimp, yellow goby-watchmen or chromis that I have. I have a 20 gallon tank and I am topping off evaporated water. Looks to be about 2 to 3 gallons total need.

    Warming Top Off

Ok, dont rake me across the coals on this question. I know it is gonna be a little out there but..... Is there any harm in heating my top off r/o water by taking half of it (2.5 gallons) and heating it up using the microwave just to warm the adding it to the other 2.5 gallons?? Just curious.
