If I boil my tapwater before I do water changes and let it set overnight to cool down is this good for a saltwater tank.I'm thinking this will eliminate harmful trace elements that contains in tapwater.Also I only have a 30 gallon tank so 15% of that is not to much for me.

I bought a Tap water filter made by Aquarium Pharmaceuticals is this good enough for water changes.

I saw on my LFS that Natures Ocean has a very fine white live sand they sell on a 10lbs bag is these OK to mix with my existing Aragonite sand.
