Do pumps lose power over time (by power i mean gph pushed) over their lifespan? Reason why I ask is because the level of water in the overflow has gone down.... so my theory is that the water coming from the pump is less then before and since the tube that goes to the wet/dry is constant the...

I know that you need to change CF bulbs every year or so. My question is why do you need to change them and what problems can they cause in the aquarium? Thanks for the input!
