Raised salinity too quickly after hypo :(

I believe i raised the salinity too quickly from 1.009-1.011-12 in one day. The wrasse is eatting and swimming okay but under the lights i noticed the inside of the fish is red and the area that is red is a little swollen. Could this be the swim bladder? Thanks for your help.

    Is this mouth rot?

My qt is actually my 16 gallon bowfront that has been set up for a year now. Have the fish for about a month and just noticed this recently. Only thing i've done is treat with prazipro for flukes. Wondering if this is some type of parasite? Or maybe bacterial infection? Only other tank mate...

Things are better today, ammonia is at zero and this is before the 25% water change i just did. Thanks for the info Sep, thats what i thought about the wrasses and other fish. Wish i could set up rubbermaid tubs, would have done that to start if i could. Going to ride this out and keep up with...

No choice but to hypo display with live rock

I knew this was not a good idea but was my only option. I knew i would not be able to set up a qt large enough and also have it cycled and ready to handle the bioload. My first week of hypo, lost 3 fish, battling ammonia problems and my rock looks very bad, no more coraline, some type of algae...

    hypo salinity

I have a 125 gallon fowlr that i would like to do hypo on. I plan on taking half the rocks out and leaving the rest behind for bio filtration. BUT, i've read that doing hypo on live rock is a big no no. This will kill all life and cause a huge ammonia spike. I also have a shallow sand bed...
