are you putting these on a wave maker? I just bought two #3 and want to put them on a wavemaker.

I was afraid of that answer. Is it just at the start? My maxi jets were noisy as well, but I just dealt with it. Figured it was better for the corals.

Just bought two Korilla 3 PH's. Can these be hooked up to a Wave maker? How often should you alternate flow?

Not sure about others experience, but I had maxi jets running on a wavemaker switching every 20-30 seconds and it keep blowing the back off the PH. Eventually the stopped working. From what I understand, if they switch on and off constantly it will often start out in reverse.

Well I scrubbed mine down with a toothbrush last night for about 2 hours. Got most of it. I will let you know if it works out.

I feel ya brother! Fighting the same thing in a 120. I am sick of plucking the *ucking hair algae!

According to the wife, we are still getting a lot of micro bubbles. So it must be somewhere in the plumbing. I have two options at this point: Continue to let it run as is or shut it down and start the closed loop until I can get the refugium going. Not sure if I want to reduce the filtration...
