Why can't you put an computer type UPS between the house's AC and a downstream. That way current will always be flowing into the GFI and not reset when the supply current is interupted.

Went to my LFS today and purchased my first coral, a star polyp. Now a peppermint shrimp from the SWF's cleanup crew has eaten about a third of the star polyp. Appearently this shrimp has a taste for them. Any ideas what to do? Like how to catch the little guy amoung all the rock, he's fast.

I bought 22lbs. of LR from SWF and was very happy with it. They picked out a variety of sizes and there was some corelline on it. It was cured but there was a little odor from the die off, but the tank quickly cycled (about a week) so the purchase was worth it. HTH

I oredered some and it was cured but Predator is right there was some die off and it had a slight odor. It re-cured fairly quickly and after 3 weeks I believe it's fully cured. HTH

How big is the CC? I have seen CaribSea CC that is very small size wise, almost like large sized sand. Is this size ok to mix with LS?

okay, okay, I will remove all the cc. There is very little in there anyway so before I put any thing else in the tank i'll remove it.

I kinda did what you did, I left the cc there and put in 3 inches (40lbs) of LS on top. I put some plastic flooring down that was cut from the trays that bakeries use to stack the bread. This got the rock off the glass and made for a more evenly weight distributed flooring than having the LR...
