I have a 37 gallon reef. Right now I have a 110W of PC lighting. Any ideas on what I should do to get more? I dont think I could fit another 4" wide fixture on top of the tank. Should I get a single PC to pump in another 55W?

Again I am back to this salinity issue. The cheap bobbing glass hydrometer is showing around 1.022-1.024. The plastic fill-up type is showing 1.026-1.027. How am I ever going to be certain what is right?

With the cost of RO water systems, why not use an undersink standard water filtration unit? Now granted, I only have a 37 gallon and only change approx. 5 gallons a month or so. Are these systems acceptable to use?

I wanted to know if anyone out there has good coraline growth without the use of Kalkwasser. I have heard that Kalkwasser is superior to other products, but the fact that it has to be drip dosed rather than just added directly to the tank, makes it less attractive. Any thoughts?
