    yes.. I agree.. introduce them at the same time and you should be ok.. they will probably fight for the first 48 hours or so then they will likely settle down

    I think the water at 25ppm is like the cause. Also, it appears that the algae is on your rock. This is a typical picture of Phosphate saturation in the rock.
