    Id assistance

Found this little guy a few weeks after adding new rock. Sorry for the not-so-clear pics; I believe it is the best I can do with the camera I have.

    Negotiations

Had a torch coral for about a month and my gsm finally started negotiations with it on Friday (at least that I've noticed). Wow, was that fun to watch! Yesterday I noticed it nabbing food at dinner time and deliberately dropping it above the coral and it has been "coozying up" some in the...

I'm failing with corals, time to give up?

You're right about one thing...colts ought to be the hardiest. Fix your h2o parameters that have been mentioned earlier. Your clown could have been floppin on your bubble, which could stress it out as well.

    I didn't forsee this coming...

Y'all are exactly right. Can't trust some of the LFS nearby. I was told all would be fine. It did come to a shock to me that it did take a while before it became late night snack/breakfast. The two had coexisted for like 5 months. What does scare me is whenever I do purchase a bigger tank...

    I didn't forsee this coming...

I think my bicolor pseudo snacked up Dukes, my banded coral. I scooped up the exo this morning as it must have molted during the night, and it wasn't at its usual place post-molt. I thought it was strange, but couldn't do much about it as I was off to work. So, I got home from work and did a...

    New 55 gal. Need advice

Wow - holy hyperbole here... You could definitely keep a fish only tank thriving without any live rock at all. I agree that live rock is fantastic for a tank as it brings a beautiful realistic look and works as a natural biological filter, but to say you won't be able to keep anything alive in...

    What might this be...

This white fuzzy thing has peaked my interest! What might it be? It is growing under/adjacent to one of my shrooms. Thanks for looking and posting your thoughts. I appreciate it! Edit: After zooming through some old threads via the search function, maybe a q-tip sponge, even though the top...
