one more question, Does live sand die after a while and should more be added after a certian amount of time?

I have an over abundance of snail/hermit crab shells laying on my sand,Now should I remove them if they are not being used cause it will only trap stuff, the same way cc does,or leave them for the hermits. just wondering:notsure:

The closest I could find when searching is a Baha (Cerith) snail, small cone shaped,According to the article they are fine,maybe their cleaning the shell of the clams,lets hope they clean and run

My pink square anthias will not eat the food I present, Ive tried brine, mysis, plankton,prine reef,bloodworms nothing I put in appeals to himher. Heshe shows great interest in wanting to eatbut just wont take it or spits it out. Any other suggestions on another type of food heshe may take. Thanks
