I have a Geometric Pygmy Hawkfish mine was a bit shy when I first got him. I would rarely see him but now that he has been in for a bit he is out a lot more perching on rockwork. He leaves my shrimp, snails..etc alone. It loves meaty foods!! Sent from the great beyond via Tapatalk 2.5!!

Welcome!! As far as rock goes to save buy dry rock and just seed that with a small amount of live rock. No need to go out and buy 60+ lbs of live rock. Lights are the most expensive items you will purchase hands down as stated above if you plan on going with a full blown reef down the road buy...
