Do I have a mantis shrimp?

Carrie, if you are going to sell them, post it on the trading forum---someone may want to take them off your hands there. (just a thought, in case someone is looking and doesn't get to this post) ;)

    coral banded shrimp

Still been keeping an eye on the CBS and if my Clarkii moves to a different anemone the shrimp is right behind him. Both places there is a cave that both are in...The cut looks bigger today too, it should be healing. Just leads me to think since the CBS is everywhere the clown goes and the cut...

    coral banded shrimp

Thanks for the input SusiePan--I'm thinking that they do look "so darling" myself. Sweet and innocent, but I will keep a look out the LFS said they'd take it back so that helps out.

tank problems, brown growth, fish dying

Ora, this is what we heard from my LFS and I do trust them (got very lucky) they seem to know their stuff, seem to not be in it for the money. With CC it takes more than 5 weeks to cycle, they said it may take months--that is why we went with LS and we liked the look of LS. Also in reading posts...

    Strange clown behavior????

Boiler, my clarkii was in heaven the minute I added our anemone (have 3 now) and it swims too all of them and it does get "testy" if anything else comes near the one its in at the time. Mine also feeds, sleeps, and just plain hangs out in the anemones. I think you'll be ok. Also, recently the...

    coral banded shrimp

I hope you dont mind but I also have a question about the CBS--Is it possible that it would pick at a fish as far as to tear and make bleed? Background for this--a few days I noticed what I thought was a scratch on my Clarkii clown and thought it may of got on him from swimming through the LR...

    WHAT ABOUT THIS?

Fishman-- I too have a 75 gallon and all I can tell ya is what I have: a coral beauty, a bi-color angle, a clarkii clown, and a orange damsel. As for others I have 3 anemones, 1 CBS, 1 scooter blenny, 2 urchins (1 large/1 small) and a deceased arrow crab (due to the huge anemone and the fact...

what's up with my power head?

Corvette, I had the problem with my skimmer too, so try to turn down the skimmer and see if that solves the problem. Then you'll know which one may be causing the problem. :)

    Need cleaning suggestions

Ora, I had the same problem with brown algea on my DSB after about a month, I used Phos-zorb. I can't tell you if that was the correct way to go and am not telling you to do so or not to do so. (It is merely what I did at the point and time). It seemed to work, but then again it could of just...

    I need the Sharks help!

No one as far I can see was short tempered towards you, they were just giving advice to the best of their knowledge as you had asked them to do. And as for "quick to answer" isn't that what you wanted...they only speak on their experiences and again that is what you asked for.

Just to let you know you are not alone (and I posted the same question about a month ago)...... mine took 5-6 days before I actually saw it eat and NOT spit it out, he may be eating of the rocks also, I noticed mine doing that.
