    If it has been cured at the lfs you should be able to just put it in. About the newspapper wrapping, I have heard the dyes on the newspapper will leach out. As long as the rock is double bagged and has a couple inches of water in the bag so it wont dry out it should be fine

    Sterling, 3 12 inches is very big for cleaners in aquariums, I would say they probalby wont get much larger than that , and I have never seen one larger.

    Cleaner Shrimp

    Coral Banded will kill just about any crustations that are smaller then them, Ive hade them before but once I introduced other shrimps, amd even crabs the CBS started killing anything it could catch it, including snails. I dont know if this is typical of the species or if mine was just a scrapper!

    Most powerheads are the same, I havent noticed any major difference between brands,(at least from a functional point of view) What advice i can give is to make sure you get powerheads with attachments to difuse the water intake so your smaller fish and marine friends dont get sucked into the intake
