hey all, its been a while, anyways, i just set up a new 5 gallon mino bow nano, its been up for about 4 days and i started it with R O water and livsand, i have 6 lbs of LR so far and all the water levels are good, i heard that the livesand is instant cycling would itr be safe to put in any life...

heres a pic of my perc. and hes carpet... after 3 days in the tank he had taken to it..IMO i would recomend a carpet for a perc. i have never seen one turn a carpet anemone down.

i think he is talking about aptasia....if it is..i "heard" you can get rid of them by either injecting calcium into them or boiling water and filling up a siringe and just blow the hot water over them..thats what i did in my tank and it worked well...they havent spred either...just dont try and...

if you are interested in getting any type of clownfish i would suggest gettign a carpet anemone... mine is a brown...of course the water/light coditions have to be just right :)

man didnt know that... learn somethign new everyday... thanks alot!! hm.... well today he didnt go in it much so maybe he will do it gradualy... i guess thats the best that can happen unless i QT the clowns for a few weeks ...noit an option :( but thatks alot!

are you talking about the color on the snails.. if so.. it looks like it to me the rock i cant tell..

he isnt burrowning into the mouth its around the outer rim but thatks for the try..... anyone have any other suggestions?i know someone has encountered this

you need a book badly... you were told to take everything out of your tank and let it cycle! not take the corlas out and put in one verrry sensitive fish. please listed to advice and do the solution is not to pu more salt in.. the solution it to actualy let it cycle first its not like...

i have a brown carpet and by the 2nd day i had put it in there my clown was all over it. he would go up to it and bury his face in it and kind of suck on the tenticals (no harm to the anemone) but he has yet to go into it yet......do any of you have a say in what hes doing by sucking on them...
