I have a Fluval canister filter and i was wondering how u change the media without getting water everywhere. Is there an easy way to get the water out of it when u turn it off?

I have a mushroom that had 4 babies, but they are really small and when the big mushroom opens up it covers them. Will this keep them from growing? Also any suggestions on if I need to move the big one? it is attached to a big piece of live rock.

I have a 56 Gallon, and I am thinking of upgrading to 120 gallon. Can anyone give me an idea on how difficult it is? I would need another 60 lbs of rock. I also want to put the tank in the same place it currently resides. Any suggestions?

I feed mine different things. He like pieces of raw shrimp, frozen plankton, freeze dried plankton, and he also likes Nori (Dry seaweed). They are normally agressive eaters and should not be too picky. He may still be stressed. Hope this helps

I have a 56 gallon (36" wide) I have 2 ea. of 50/50 power compacts that put out 96 watts each. Is this enough light for anenomes and corals? Im not sure if I can afford to add more. This hobby sure is expensive!

I got a purple base anenome and I have a few questions. I fed it a small piece of shrimp today, and after around an hour it spit our some black stuff. Also the tentacles will inflate and deflate occasionally. Are both of these normal? Thanks

i had a clownfish die a few days ago, and i havent been able to find it among the rocks. My ammonia level is now 1.0. All I have in the tank (56gal) is a sally lightfoot. Should I try to find the dead fish, or will the ammonia drop soon? Ive had the tank 2 months.

I think it was the salinity. It had a lot of evaporation, and when i checked the salinity when i got home it was over 1.03. I added purified water, but i don't know if it shocked the fish. my guess then is that it was the salinity.
