I saw on Melevreef site that he use LED Computer fans which i thought was neat idea but i dont understand how he powered the fans.

Is there another brand of skimmer you would recommend that is in my price range

what do moonlights do, is just to view the tank at night or do they have some other benefits

What size return pipes should i use 3/4 or 1/2 pvc. I will be running it off a Mag 7 with the return Teeing off into 2 corners. :help:

I have prizm too and i hate it, way to noisy. you can turn it down to control the bubbles. it works but i don't think its all that good of a skimmer. I'm in the process of finding a new one that is not so noisy and will work better.

Also can i use the Aragamax Sand and seed it with one of the two above or is the Aragamax Sand to fine of sand -(0.2 to 1.22 mm grain size)

I move a 75 gallon fish only at the time from Ga to Fl an 8 hour drive with no fish loss. i used 5 gallon buckets with lids and used battery powered air pumps.

Tgfrench how did you set up the float switch up in the sump. I was thinking of doing that. Do you have a pic of it?
