Pics aren't too clear...but looks like aiptasia. You could try peppermint shrimp which are known to help control outbreaks. I've never had an outbreak myself, but I have also heard that a product called joe's juice works, just not sure what effect it would have on the tank/tankmates.
Hi everyone,
I was hoping I could get some feedback. I have a 12G nanocube as one of my tanks and have had it up and tore it down and had it back up again! hehe Well anyway, I started to stock it a month ago and got a sixline wrasse (my first time with this fish) and its great. I proceeded to...
Slomo,
I had the same problem with my old marineland eclipse. I would get salt creep everywhere...and I mean everywhere! Unfortunately, there was nothing I did that worked to remedy the excessive salt buildup, so I took down that tank!
I would figure out what's going wrong in your tank before adding any other fish. IMO Otherwise the wrasse is a great fish...lots of character, just picked up a sixline for my nano a couple weeks ago.

Personally, I would limit a tank of that size to 1 fish. If you want a goby I would try one of the smaller species like a neon goby, barbershop goby or twin spot goby. In any case you would still have to keep optimal water conditions and make sure the tank is covered if you keep a barbershop...
I would ditch the bioballs...you can use some live rock in the back compartments, they will provide a more natural filteration. Also a bag of chemipure will do the trick.

I'm not 100% but I do think that Fiddler crabs need some sort of access to an 'out of water' environment as well. They also like brackish conditions.
