    Finally Epaulette moved to pond

The babies are both about a foot long. Since I have plenty of room for them to get some more size I'm thinking maybe a year before they go to the pond. That's just a guess though. I don't think horns grow very fast. The pond is about 1000 gallons. It's 10 feet long by 5 feet wide and 3 feet...

Water is at about 75 degrees. Everyone seems to do fine in this temperature. All are active and eat like horses

    Finally Epaulette moved to pond

Thanks, I almost brought home another bamboo from the LFS. She was really beat up though. They really don't know what they're doing. She had several leasions on her side. If they didn't want so much $$ for her I would have tried to nurse her back to health.

    Finally Epaulette moved to pond

Have you ever tried to catch a shark that's in a 2 foot deep tank that's 3 feet off the ground by hand? It ain't easy especially when you're vertically challenged.

    Finally Epaulette moved to pond

Here's a couple of the horn checking out her new pond mate. They're a little blurry because the horn wouldn't stop and smile for the camera.

Well I finally did it. I moved my eppie into the pond with the horn shark. Not easy to do, but she seems to be doing alright.

    Banana Morray - Muraena miliaris

My eel didn't eat for about 7 months when I got him. They tend to go on hunger strikes occasionally. I just kept offering different foods and one day he just snapped out of it. He still doesn't eat regularly, but when he eats it's like stuffing a sock.

    Banana Morray - Muraena miliaris

I got mine at a LFS for $130. It's a great eel. Pretty mellow. It gets along with my rays and epaulette shark just fine.

    New baby horn shark

Nothing new. I want the baby to get bigger before she goes in. I do have a 2 foot epaulette that may go in soon.

    New baby horn shark

Brenden Couldn't of said it better. I'll work on getting the information you asked for today. As for when I'm adding her to the pond, it will probably be a while. She's only about a foot long and the horn that's in the pond is 2 feet long. I want to make sure she gets her dinner with out to...
