I have a new in box euroreef rs-80 skimmer for sale 160.00.

You need to put a ball valve on your return pump line. I had to do this on my pump and it works great and it does not hurt the pump as some people say.

I think you would be ok for 4 hours.

My new 20 has been doing great here is a few pics.

My zoos have been acting the same way this week. I took them out and did a freshwater dip on them today. I was thinking that something was eating them but i didnt see anything on them. I hope yours open back up did you check to see if anything was eating them?

I am not sure what pump will work for yours because i have the 65. I have mine in my sump and my local fish store has a 220 and its in a sump and it works great.

They have some overflowing issues i have one and its overflowed a few times on me. It has been working fine for 2 weeks so i have my fingers crossed.

Moving out? why would you move after doin all that work.

I have a coralife 65 and it does skim very well but it has overflowing issues like eveyone has said and no my airline isnt clogged.

Welcome to my world. LOL I have the same skimmer and it works great for a few days then it goes crazy and overflows the collection cup. I believe the skimmer is very sensitive to the water level mine is in my sump.

Here is an update on my tank. I put in a cleanup crew then a shrimp and some zoos. Before anyone says anything my cycle is complete. I will probably add my clowns in a week or 2 i just want to take it slow and add stuff slowly. Here is a pic.

Mine skims very well.

I didnt add anything to the tank and i made sure the sump water level was where it needed to be before i went to bed. The pump sits in at least 5 inches of water.
