tell me about it. i did 6 coats one morning one night for me. when I desperately wanted to mount the tank...i said NO!

Its called spray on poly. Works just as good and much quicker.

ya. not nearly as good. not even close to the saturation I got with 6 coats. at best you would be lucky if 6 coats spray made the same proofing as 2 coats regular.

well when you don't spray it is not as thick, but you could do 3 coats of spray in the time it would be for 1 coat of other.

Guna hafta sand the last coat and reapply, got a few runs

Lots of help!!! I'm having a hard time deciding wether or not to drill the bottom of the tank because the overflow boxes will take up a lot of realestate. So I'm thinking really hard about going with G-H.com.

I was talking about the crying smilies but ok. I thought of the same thing so I drilled the back of the tank with the overflow bulkheads and returnes.

1 1/2" I'll have two, one on each side on the back and the sea swirl in the center. I was thinking 2 of the 700gph glass-holes overflow kits??? The return pump is a Quiet One 6000
