do you have a car? you can get an inverter that runs from your cigarette lighter....they run $30 I think.....you should be able to run a powerhead and a fan at least
that is if you can not get a generator

Can you do this? SW tanks don't last long with out some sort of aeration.

I think I will try this tonight.. How long do you think I have before I start loosing livestock?
oooooohhhhh~ I likes. I wanted one for my tank but I'm scared that my triggers will try to eat it thinking that it's food....
Also I only have 95w pc light 50/50 white/blue + 4' blue led light from hamilton... I don't think it gives out the intensity the coral requires....
Well I got my power back today, but I was not without loss.. The only fish that survived was my blue tang.. I also lost almost all of my SPS. Looks like some other corals might night make it.. today is a sad day..
Sorry to hear so much loss to such a sweet tank. Sps are resilliant, hit em with lots of flow, and keep perameters best as possible, and key is to ease them back to light as if they were new bulbs/ fixture.

+1, keep your chin up. I hope everything will work out for you!
SO SORRY...I know everyone can't get a generator, BUT at least with an inverter that you can plug into a car lighter or one that hooks up to a car battery would be a big help in this kind of situation...can run a powerhead...a fan....small stuff, BUT stuff that is needed
