A BSA would be money, a beautiful fish. Though you really need to tell your boy Mark to get a better picture, that one online doesn't do a BSA any justice...
I agree, the Black Velvet/Gray Poma one is horrible too, I considered offering him mine of that as well....I'm sure you have seen "Bigangels" BSA on --, stunning fish.

SOrry off topic...but ccampbell, what kind of angel is that in your avatar?! That's a beauty.

Squidward - Kirk is correct. The picture is of a Centropyge Boylei or Peppermint Angel.
It is super rare and probably the most expensive angel at around $15000 per specimen. They also require tanks that stay at around 68-69 degrees due to the fact that they are found at a minimum depth of 300 ft around the Cook islands.
They are so rare in fact, that there is only 1 or 2 known to be living in captivity.

I was on the waitlist for one, but I didn't realize they need such chilly water
, I might take my name off....I still like the Clarion and Conspic better anyway.

I agree! I took my name off once I realized that it would be like putting $15K on one hand of blackjack with a wing and a prayer.
I would rather have both Clarion and a Conspic as well as a new ride!

Ok, they are all small now, but they are gonna grow up someday. I always planned on getting this guy in, it was the Asfur that snuck in on me.
He has been in 10 days now, he came in and one of his eyes clouded over almost immediately, I sent a pic to the guy that owns the place I got him from, and to CCampbell, it was agreed he had flukes....I did a freshwater dip and am treating the DT with Prazi-pro. The FW dip was cool, I could see a couple of flukes peeling off his eye.
He is doing very well now, eats anything offered and learning quickly that you better eat fast in my tank. A bit scared of the bigger Asfur whom chases him a bit, but believe or not the Sohal protects him, the Sohal never chased the Asfur until he started bullying the new guy. Don't think the Sohal likes other fish being aggressive in "His" tank.
The aggression is almost nonexistant now.
Here he is after his fluke treatment, he's about 2 1/2 inch.

Cool fish! I've always wanted one but unfortunately it won't happen in my current tank. It's stocked to the max as it is. Will probably have to sell one or two fish when they grow up. Good luck with him and post pictures when the colors change.

He is looking great Kirk! The flukes are gone and once you get him settled he will be like a rock.
I am counting the days down till I get my new juvie emperor to go with my big adult.
