Awww the bunny is so cute!! I wanted one but my hubby said no he had some times with them growing up I guess.. So we ended up with 2 guinea pigs. So my co worker found out I had the piggys and begged me to come over and help trim the toe nails on his bunny.. Woo you wanna talk about mean and some teeth on them.. He ended up getting rid of the bunny. But yours look all sweet and nice!!! Very cute!! The tanks looks great too!!
!
Aww, maybe if you keep asking your husband for one he'll end up giving in like I did when my girlfriend kept insisting that she wanted one so there, we got one. He's reeeally sweet, doesn't bite or anything, potty trained and runs around the house and over the furniture like a dog would. The only thing is that he HATES being picked up

+10 Yeah go with Metal Halides!!!!
Yup, so my plan is to have 2 - 150w - 20" sunpods hanging on each side/end of the tank
And good new is that I got that fuge that this guy was selling me worth $320 for only $180! w0000t!

The only thing missing is the water pump, he said he was going to look for it. It's all brand new!
This is what I got so far:
-Tank
-EcoSystem Pro 40 Series Hang on Back Wet/Dry Filter System with Bak-Pak Protein Skimmer
-1 MH Sunpod 150w
-Aquaclear 70
-2 rena 150w heaters
-60lb of LR
-60lb of Caribbean reef LS
Today I start the tank, I left it over night with tap water looking for leaks and everything seems fine! I just need the water and I'm ready to go!

I am confused, are you taking the sunpod off of this tank? I would leave the 150 watt on this tank and get a 2x150 sunpod fixture. It will be cheaper than buying 2 seperate ones, and you could keep the 150 sunpod on the Biocube.
Oh yeah that is a bad azz deal on the Ecosystem Pro 40, good find!

Yeah I was thinking of leaving the Nano with the stock PC and keep only mushrooms and corals that need little light. It'll be cheaper if I order a 2nd sunpod like the one on my nano, it only cost me $260 and have 2 of these on the 55g

Yeah, it was an awesome deal with the fuge, thank you Craig's list

I'll never forget about my nano, it's like my first baby

Here's what I have as a current set-up for the 55g
One Sunpod and the fuge behind it:
There's 5" of distance between the top of the tank and the MH

Man, you barely got your 29BC started up and you are already starting another tank?? You are either really rich or broke as hell, I'm leaning towards #2 after reading thru all your posts.
Your cube was just starting to take shape too..
You know if you start up that big tank you are going to neglect your smaller one. I'd be happy to take it off your hands, just pack it up and ship it to Michigan, problem solved..

I'd say neither of those 2

I got the 29 nano as a Christmas present along with almost $500 in gift for my LSF and Master card gifts cards.
So pretyy much this 55g has been coming out of my pocket and barley any money considering what I paid for them

I won't neglect the nano, it'll be used as a coral sanctuary or something

Update on the new 55g now all set up, just for it to cycle!

Sunpod on the left and the stock crappy 24" fluorescent hood on the right. What a difference...lol Just waiting for the second sunpod

Update on my biocube!
SO far everything checks, water parameters, calcium alk; all that. Within the next couple of days I might add my first fish and I'm thinking between a firefish or a pair or precula clows. Any suggestions?

Firefish would be cool, but dont you have an open top? They are known to be "Jumpers". They dont always tho.
Yeah, but I already bought a mesh for this just in case any other fish decides to become a jumper
