I'm 99% certain it is the same person. Great info in it. I need to figure something with my rock work. I'm never happy with it.

I have my rock laying out in the garage......In my time away I actually got caught up on a lot of stuff I've been neglecting.....I actually cleaned my garage and somewhat organized......My wife suggested putting her new car in the garage.......
I immediately got the rock out and started working on scaping......The are article is incredible, but the hard thing for me is I have NO artistic ability.....I can envision it, but can't take it from my mind to my hands in this case.....I did get a step closer this weekend.....I bought a new hacksaw and concrete bits to drill and cut the rock......

Sometimes, its better to lay all the rock in front of you, and just start playing like a kid with blocks lol. Then, as your experimenting, you will suprise yourself at what you put together!

I put everything in the tank and then arrange it as I see fit... Always done it that way. I dunno why, but it's always been halfway decent when I get done with it "officially."
After reading a few articles, I feel like I can do even better.

Yep. I've planned aqua scapes out in my head many times. But in the end you really just having to start throwing things in there to see how they look/feel to you. Tweaks and changes are gonna happens. I just get a basic idea started and then go where ever my creativity feels like taking me from there. If anywhere.

You must be tired. Long day?

Yeah I laid it out and started playing around and found a foundation, and then moved everything around when I went inside and got my tank template so I can actually work within a "known" space and I couldn't remember which pieces I was working with or what they looked like.....Kinda like driving into a neighborhood and not remember which way you came and everything looks the same.....
Anyways I started over after a day of thinking and looking eyeing......I know my neighbors think I'm more odd than usual now, that I lay on the garage floor and stare and play with rocks......

Not at all... they are just wondering what that blue and red light is growing in your basement...
They already have a reason why you're odd...
Every time I explain another project to my wife, I get the same look. Over the years she has kinda stopped asking for the explanations. lol
Glad you are finding a starting point. I know you will change it up a few more times before you are satisfied.

Careful, now. Once they stop questioning your reasoning for spending more of your free time on something else than you do with them is right about the same time they start plotting to leave your a$$. Not trying to scare ya or anything...just sayin. Watch out!

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAA that's funny. No, I'm sorry, but you don't know and can't assume anything about my relationship with my wife. I'm sorry, but that's just halarious. I'm sorry your woman is like that, or you have had experiences like that in the past.
My aquarium time does not get in the way of my relationship with my wife. She's busy doing other things and we do manage to have our own time together, even though we have a 7mo old.

Good lord, man. It was a joke. JOKE, Seth. You have been one sensitive cookie lately.
But since you brought it up, my woman and I are very happy. Several years together with our dream wedding plans coming together, shoping for a new home, and a brand new loaded, lariat sitting in our driveway that she gets to drive to work everyday puts a smile on her face that lets me know this. :)

Bah, stress from school, man. Sorry. I'm putting a lot of pressure on myself to make straight A's this semester and next. Trying to get my GPA up past the 3.7 mark. I'm at a 3.5 but I want to get "recognized" when I graduate. At least my weekly therapy sessions are helping. :D
I WISH I could work and make a ton of money like you to buy things for my wife, but I have the fortune to be a full time college student at the moment... and deer season hasn't really started yet here in Louisiana for me to go back to work as a taxidermist yet. Kinda waiting, and waiting, and waiting... getting a little irritated.
