I think that might have been the bulkhead/elbow that I didn't like how it was seated and decided to grab the channel locks and give it a little extra......

LOL...lets hope Beth doesn't look on this site. I know you will figure it all out. I know how frustrating it is to test some equipment and have it leak...You take two steps forward and end up two steps back.

Went to pull the pump this morning and for whatever reason I couldn't get the big 2" true union ball valve loose.....Pissed anyways to having to pull the CL apart, so with my impatience and having to rework the area anyways, I cut the CL feed plumbing in 1/2 to make my life easier.....
Looks like I'll be replumbing the CL tonight hopefully!!!!!!!!

Finally got a good bulkhead after 3 attempts.....The first I'll take full blame for possibly over tightening it and cracking it, but who would of thought cracking a sched 80 bulkheads.....The 2nd bulkhead from the same source looked a bit sketchy, but tried it anyways, but this time only hand tightening the fitting off the back of the bulkhead and still leaked.....There was no way I over tightened and elbow into the back of a bulkhead and cracked it.....Trust me not that strong.....Finally today I bit the bullet and purchase a Spears brand sched 80 bulkhead and little different design, but low and behold no leaks.....

Might add....My PB that I've had in QT since the end of April is doing very well......No signs of ich the whole time, and the piggy will eat from my fingers.....The Yellow is a PITA though.......Might have to think twice about adding him.....

Starting to work on my aquascaping.....Lets see some pics and ideas......I'll give a little insight, looking for a very open structure, tons of swimming space, plenty of places for corals and room to grow, but want to go as minimal on rock as possible.....Lets see some pics and here your ideas!!!!!

Well, Spanko posted this pic in my thread. I really liked it except I couldn't get my rock that high. Here it is. I thought it was different.

I like..... Probably a bit high for my taste as well, but like the overall layout. I've been reading a thread over on the other forum trying to gain some artful insight..... Keep the pics and ideas coming!!!

Well you've seen my tank, so you know I like columns......very easy to make with mostly base rock, PVC, and foam....and they fit the bill for the requirements you mentioned.
I also like the coral bommie look, but that's very hard to pull off in our (relatively) small tanks. Might be able to do it in a 400+ system, though.

I think you should do a couple of large islands with a horse-shoe shaped bridge or arch connecting them. With a plethora of caves/tunnels around the base of the islands. Then maybe a couple of smaller stand-alone islands scattered about the tank. just a thought

I found a great article about aquascaping and that is where the photo is from. It also goes into the colors for coral placement. It's pretty interesting.
