you've been away for so long we all forgot bout the tank
Yeah, I seemed to have neglected by forumn responsibilities over the summer. After eight hours on the computer every day, coming home and getting online was not quite at the top of my list. Now that school has started again I hope to become more active again.

Looks really good. I might take that yellow tang. I could give you some SPS for him. I started working at reef systems a month or so ago. You should come out some time. I work all day fridays and saturdays. And I dont know if you get on cora.org but there is a swap soming up next sunday and we are setting up a table. You should come and see. There will be alot of nice corals for sale.

I will definitely think about it, I have not done so well with sps in the past, but I think I about ready to try it again. Especially since the summer is over and I do not have to worry about heat issues. I am really just dreading trying to catch him, I usually have to tear down my entire tank.
You have any ideas on the zoo's matt?

Got some new corals from someone who was breaking his tank down. The first mushroom rock has about 30 mushrooms on it, over 100 zoa's (hard to see bc the mushrooms are covering them), and 2 pieces of pipe organ. I got this rock for $50! Best coral deal ever. The second picture is a hammer that has 19 really small heads, hopefully this will take off and get huge! Finally, I got three of these pally-esque things. I totally forget what they are called...

I will try to get a full tank shot later tomorrow or something. I am acclimating my new fairy wrasse right now!

I also bought a life reef calcium reactor yesterday with a 5lb Co2 tank! I do not have a PH controller yet so I probably will not be able to set this up for a little while. I am very excited to have stable calcium and alkalinity levels without having to dose everyday!

I finally got rid of my yellow tang...it was sad to see him go, but my tank is just not big enough. He was also trying to imale my wrasse with his tail barb thing.

Alright, new picture time. I finally decided to go through with it and tear out my lifereef sump and replace it with a custom 40g breeder. I wanted to be able to fit my calcium reactor and my skimmer inside of my sump, as well as have enough room for a decent sized refugium. The 40 gallon breeder worked out perfectly.
My first attemp at building a sump did not, however, go so well...I ordered the pieces of glass needed to install in the baffles a little too big. I decided to try to force them into position and actually cracked the side of the tank. The second time around, I ended up with this little beauty:

I will try to get some pictures of the final product tomorrow sometime, until then...here are a few pictures of the work in progress :)
Turned out to be a much bigger project than I thought

Alright, here are some pictures of the final product.
Changes equipment wise are as followsL Poseidon PS4 external pump has been switched out to a quite one 3,000 (my old skimmer pump) and I am not using a quite one 5,000 as my skimmer pump. I also added a dual chamber reactor that is running carbon and GFO, this can be seen on the far left. My new calcium reactor has also been placed in the sump now. I also mounted my new milwaukee PH controller.
Here you go!

If I had a downstairs bathroom I would have done the same thing, a fish room is always preferable.
Here are a few new pics I took, I just got a new camera for christmas so I have been going crazy with pictures.

Last but certainly not least, my new clowns, fresh out of the quarantine!
