But then, I've said that before...

i dont want you to convince me of anything...it is all how you see it...you see a fetus as a child and i dont see it as a child until it is born...

You see? This debate is hopeless because no one will accept anything. I have presented solid grounds for our stand, whereas the best thing I hear from the other side are things like "What if it isn't the woman's fault?"... which rarely happens.

I haven't said a word from it. Not one. What does it have to do with whether or not it is right to kill a child?

Calling an unborn child a fetus was created by abortion sellers.

Well, for one, where I said that when a pregnant woman is killed, the murderer is charged with two murders. Therefore, two persons. Need more?

You need to check your numbers again....
Recent statistics on gun deaths in the USA: approx 40,000
CDC numbers for smoking deaths in 2006: approx 400,000
Legal abortions reported to the CDC in the USA in 2004: 840,000....

I was just in a maternity ward yesterday in a recovery room. I spent about 8 hrs in there and saw mother after mother come in after they had recieved a C-sections. All them were mothers of premature babies that were weeks early. I recall 1 having twins that were 3 months earlier and weighted around 2 lbs. The doctors said the babies are doing well, but they had to use a ventilator on them for a couple days to make sure their lungs would expand and they could breath. It was pretty amazing because there were like 6 mothers who were going through the same thing and all the babies seemed as if they were going to make it. Now a baby that goes full term goes 40 weeks. These babies were at most 28 weeks. My point is that though they were early they are still babies and are able to survive.
The smallest baby weighed less than 9oz and was born at 22 weeks. Which in pregnancy terms is exactly 5 months. Does anyone know what the time peroid for when you are able to have an abortion?
But my point clearly shows that as early as 5 months, a fetus (baby) is able to survive. So we know that atleast from 22-40 weeks regardless if they are in the womb or not, they are still a baby.

Only 29 states have the so-called fetal homicide laws.

So until you actually have something educational to say instead of just rambling nonsense, it might be better to just sit on the sideline and participate ONLY when you have something related to the topic instead.

See my above post before you start accusing other posters of "rambling nonsense" and having "absolutely NO IDEA what you are talking about...

Dont trust numbers, not every gun or smoking death gets reported.

Of course you have no scientific evidence to back up such belief; which is where in my mind the difficulty lies.
