I spent $1365.00 on everything after discount (I get my 10% discount for being reef club member). I'm asking a friend of mine who I bought dry rock rubbles from before to see when he's getting a new order in. I'm gonna get those instead of bio-balls. And some for the display system of course, I used up every bit of the rocks I got from him last time. I'm now stumped on lighting, I really want to do VHO with MH's again, but the guy at the LFS suggested not to do VHO and just go with 2x250w HQI MH 20k's. But I really want to do VHO's!! I know I will have to drill some holes in the canopy for pc fans, air circulation is a must! Another friend of mine suggested that I should still do VHO Actinics with MH's like I wanted to. We're gonna take down the 46 bow as soon as this tank is ready. ALL my corals are moving into this one, EVERY Zoa gets dipped before going into this tank!!!! I don't want to take any risk for nudibranch. Any new coral goes into my existing tank for QT. All my fish moves into the new tank, gonna use those 2 undestructible Chromis of mine to test the water after cycling, then moving one by one into the new tank. Gonna put the Yellow Tang from the 46bow into this large one along with my Naso Tang. I hope they get along!!! It would be hell catching that Peppermint Shrimp for the new tank as with everyone else in the tank. Then the Trigger moves into my 55, then some Heniochus Butterfly moves into the 46bow for QT, then move'em into the 55, then down the 46bow front to sell. We're planning a new fish stocking list for the 90, a few fire fish and a few bagaii cardinals, maybe a few more small ones, not much more. I can't wait until I get it started, the tank gets delivered Wednesday, I already brought home the sump/fuge and the pump. Now saving money for the new lights, no more coral shoppin' for quite sometime!!! :happyfish
I have to say that I am VERY Jellous!!! I am still 2 years and 10 months out till I get my new tank! That wasn't a impulse buy at all....lol
