I'm going to go with either the vortech or tunze, pricey but worth it, sure my tank won't be up and running for a while longer, but I want the best of the best ;)

I'm going with the tunze nano streams myself. I've heard and read that they're just a little more reliable or have had less problems. But both are very good!

I would Corey, but the 6025 and 6045 won't work with the controler! I guess I will have to bite the bullet and get the 6055....still cheaper than the vortech at 218 a pop...im sure i could find them used somewheres

I love my Vortech's, but I have to advise, DO NOT EVER BUY THEM USED! Many people have issues with them when they're used, just felt I needed to throw this out there.

Sooooo.....hey everyone! I have not been on for a good while amd am quite disappointed in myself for not stopping by and saying hey and letting everyone know how me and my tank are doing. Im doing this all from my phone so bear with me. Well here is the run down i got drawn into other things..(my car mainly) blahh blah blah crap load of money spent later to realize my car needs a whole new motor so i have decided just to sell the hassle it is and use some of the money i get out of it for to get back on track with my build. Sadly i have to let you all know because of my car my tank is now gone to crap and all my corals are dead....apista everywhere....hair algea....all that bad stuff. I feel terrible for my neglect and will never let something like this ever happen again. My build status is as follows. Have the tank drilled and have the sump....thats it. Will update with pictures when i can...i hope to be back here alot more also...:)

Thanks guys i am very persistant when it comes to certain things. I was sitting in my room today and started looking at the dusty half put together 36 and it dawned upon me. Why did i let it just sit there for so long? Fish are my passion....and im not going to let anything else get in my way from accomplishing my goal of a sps dominant 36 bow. So i will let you know my equipment list plans ina minute...i need to rewrite it all down. I have decided not to go as high tech as before i will cross that road later on. ;-)

Can i recommend some lighting?
I would DIY some LED's. Get some 3w LED's and wire them up and it should go deep enough on the 36 and will be enough light for SPS.

Here is my list of goodies i havs planned.
36 Aqueon bow front glass tank (1-1/2" bulkhead)
700gph glass-holes overflow
20 long fuge/sump
azoo titanium heater (300w)
reef octopus 4" pinwheel in sump skimmer
API test kits
coralife digital power center
quiet one 4000 return
2x koralia 750s
as for lighting i was looking at either a 150-250w sunpod. I hear leds dont bring out sps's true colors...
Thanks for some of your list scott. :)
